1. Who we are
RhymeTime is a kids' sing-along channel on YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/@RhymeTimeEn), run by Sooraj Rana as an individual. RhymeTime Uploader (the "Tool") is a private desktop application that the channel owner uses to upload his own videos to his own channel. This policy explains what the Tool accesses, uses, stores and shares.
2. Use of YouTube API Services
The Tool uses YouTube API Services (the YouTube Data API v3). By using the Tool you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service (https://www.youtube.com/t/terms). Google's handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy).
3. Who uses the Tool
The Tool has one user: the channel owner. It is not distributed, sold or offered to the public, and it only signs in to the owner's own Google account(s) for the RhymeTime channels. RhymeTime viewers never interact with the Tool, and the Tool collects no information about viewers or children.
4. Information the Tool accesses, collects and stores

The Tool does not read, collect or store any other YouTube data: no viewer data, comments, analytics, subscriber lists, or other channels' content. It uses one API method, videos.insert.
5. How information is used
The token is used only to authenticate uploads of videos that the owner has personally reviewed and approved. The video file, title, description and tags sent to YouTube are the owner's own content.
6. Sharing
No information is shared with, sold to, or disclosed to any third party. The Tool contains no advertising, analytics or tracking software. Apart from the upload request to YouTube (Google), no data leaves the owner's computer.
7. Cookies and device storage
The Tool does not place cookies or tracking technologies on anyone's device. The only data it stores is described in section 4, on the owner's own computer. This website also uses no cookies, analytics or trackers.
8. Revoking access and deleting data
- Access can be revoked at any time through the Google security settings page: https://security.google.com/settings/security/permissions.
- When access is revoked, the stored token stops working and the local token file is deleted from the owner's computer within 7 days. Deleting that file removes all stored authorisation data.
- Videos uploaded to YouTube are managed and deleted in YouTube Studio, under YouTube's own terms.
9. Children's privacy
RhymeTime videos are made for children and are marked "made for kids" on YouTube. The Tool collects no personal information from children, or from anyone other than the channel owner's own authorisation.
10. Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
